The detector automatically records and plays back time expanded calls to an external audio recorder. It is designed to be hands free, carried using a halter cord around the neck of the user so the microphone points in a forward direction. An external recorder is required. Some of the latest digital recorders have a voice activated system allowing for a complete automatic data gathering system using the TT. Downloaded calls are recorded automatically allowing for a completely hands free system. No more fumbling for controls in poor light.
